Are the products also suitable for children?

Our cosmetic kits are not designed for children and are not toys. Trying out the sets is of course no problem, as they are harmless to health.

Can cosmetic products trigger allergic reactions?

Our items do not contain any added fragrances. We are also not aware of any allergic reactions. The composition of our cosmetic products meets the highest quality requirements, which is why we strictly ensure, for example, that no substances are used in the production that are known to cause an allergic skin reaction in humans. As part of the safety assessment carried out on our behalf by an independent expert, this strict requirement is ensured. You can see this in the declaration on the product label or in our information on this website, as allergenic substances should be listed there. Unfortunately, in rare individual cases, these requirements do not preclude the possibility of an allergic skin reaction, as humans can generally be more or less allergic to virtually all substances (perhaps with the exception of water) due to their very complex immune system. In this case, the only option remaining is to stop using the corresponding cosmetic product; unfortunately, this allergic reaction is not foreseeable, so that it cannot be included in the safety assessment, which is also required by cosmetic law, and can be taken into account accordingly.

Are cosmetics tested in a laboratory?

Of course, cosmetics are tested in accredited laboratories. Our products are tested in independent laboratories before, during and after production and of course comply with the current European Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009.

Are the products vegan?

Awareness of the ingredients is also very important for us. All makeup cases, beauty and makeup sets in our online shop www.zmile-cosmetics.de contain vegan cosmetic products.

Where are the makeup cases and makeup sets manufactured?

Our products are mainly produced in China. Our cosmetic products are produced in accordance with the currently valid European Cosmetics Regulation EC (1223/2009). Our manufacturers produce in accordance with international GMP ('Good Manufacturing Practice') regulations. Among other things, requirements for hygiene, premises, equipment, documentation and controls are regulated here.

How long can I use cosmetic products after opening them?

On the packaging of each product there is a symbol of an opened jar. The number within the pictured jar indicates how long the product can be kept after the first opening. For example, if it says '12 M, 'the cosmetic product can be kept 12 months after first opening/use.

Are the cosmetics paraben-free?

The long-term effects of parabens in cosmetics have not yet been sufficiently researched. Certain parabens are used as preservatives in cosmetic products and are increasingly regarded as critical. For this reason, no parabens are intentionally added to the production of our cosmetic products. Our cosmetic products are harmless to health when used as intended. Production is based on the current cosmetics regulation (EC) 1223/2009 and therefore meets legal requirements.

Does the range also include makeup cases with natural cosmetic products?

Our ZMILE COSMETICS sets contain conventional cosmetic products; we do not offer natural cosmetic products. Even though we do not have any natural cosmetic products in our range, the best product quality and therefore the compatibility of the products is our top priority.

Can you buy individual components?

No, unfortunately that is not possible. But maybe you'll find something suitable as a replacement in a small set. Or use your first suitcase for your hobby or jewelry.

Have animal tests been carried out for the production?

Of course, we reject animal testing — out of conviction, but also because it is prohibited by law to test cosmetic products on animals. The applicable regulation (EU Cosmetics Regulation) (EC) 1223/2009 applies throughout Europe and requires that finished cosmetic products placed on the market within the EU must comply with this regulation. It may be confusing that many retail products are marked with awards and symbols in this regard. We refrain from doing so because compliance with legal requirements is self-evident and may not be advertised in addition.
